The little baby monkey was full of energy that morning. He climbed, jumped, and played around the tree branches without any care in the world. But his playful curiosity led him into big trouble — he got tangled in a rope that humans had left hanging near the feeding area. The rope wrapped around his tiny body, holding him tight and making him cry loudly for help. His mother immediately came running when she heard his cries.
Panicked and confused, the mother monkey didn’t understand what had happened. She tried to pull her baby out with her hands and even used her teeth to bite the rope. But her efforts were clumsy and only made things worse. The baby squealed louder, scared and hurting, while the mother continued tugging in frustration.
Other monkeys gathered around, watching the scene anxiously. Some tried to help, while others just made noises, showing their concern. Finally, a kind human who saw the situation stepped in. Carefully, he cut the rope and freed the frightened baby.
The mother immediately hugged her little one tightly, holding him close to her chest as if never wanting to let go again. The baby calmed down, still trembling, but safe in his mother’s arms. It was a lesson for both — the baby learned that play can be dangerous, and the mother learned that sometimes love alone isn’t enough; wisdom is needed too.
