It was supposed to be just another peaceful day in the troop, but for little Polino, everything went terribly wrong. Early in the morning, he was full of energy, jumping around and playing without realizing that his mother was already stressed and tired. When Polino accidentally spilled some food and disturbed the other babies, his mother’s patience suddenly broke.
Her anger came fast — she grabbed Polino and slapped him several times. The tiny baby didn’t understand what he did wrong. His small body trembled, and his eyes filled with tears as he cried out in pain and confusion. His mother’s face was filled with frustration, but behind that anger was also exhaustion and worry for her child’s safety.
Polino tried to hide behind a rock, quietly sobbing while watching other babies being held and comforted. His heart ached for that same gentle touch. After a while, when his mother’s anger cooled down, she slowly approached him. Seeing her baby’s tear-stained face made her heart melt. She gently reached out and pulled Polino close, letting him rest in her arms once again.
That moment reminded everyone — even in the wild, love between mother and child is never gone. Sometimes anger speaks louder than love, but in the end, a mother’s heart always finds its way back to care and forgiveness.
