Poor little Tevin, the baby monkey, found himself in a very uncomfortable situation today. While his mother went off to find some food, Tevin sat quietly under a tree, waiting for her return. At first, everything seemed peacefulâthe wind was soft, the forest calm. But soon, he began to feel tiny stings on his legs and tail. When he looked down, he saw hundreds of ants crawling all over him!
Startled, Tevin tried to brush them off with his little hands, but the ants kept climbing up. Their bites were painful, and the frightened baby didnât know what to do. He squealed and jumped up, trying to shake them off. The dry leaves scattered everywhere as the baby monkey struggled for relief. His tiny cries echoed through the forest, hoping his mother would hear him.
Finally, after a few anxious moments, Mother Monkey returned. She quickly realized what was happening and rushed to help her baby. Gently, she picked him up, brushed away the ants, and moved him to a safer spot on a high branch. Tevin clung tightly to her chest, trembling but comforted by her warmth and love.
Though the bites still stung, Tevin felt much safer now. This little adventure taught him a small but important lessonânever sit too long near the ground alone! As his mother groomed him softly, the frightened baby slowly drifted into a calm rest, grateful to be back in her arms where he belonged.
